Gaynor Baker
Manager
​I have worked in many schools, and nurseries covering children aged 0 -10 but found my passion for working with preschool children. I hold L3 Childcare in Education & L4 leadership & management qualifications, I have completed the SENDco training with accreditation. I have now completed a NPQEL in 2024. Each of my three children attended Buzzee Beez and my 6 grandchildren continue the family journey. I believe in making everyone feel accepted and included and we are all full of potential together we can all go on to achieve greatness.

My journey began at Buzzee Beez as a volunteer in 2010. After my two children attended the preschooI began. I then became a full-time staff member at Buzzee Beez Pre-school in 2012. I gain my L3 in childcare & I started the journey of learning and acquiring knowledge about childcare and education. I also have qualifications as a complementary therapist and Yoga therapist.

I began my journey at Buzzee Beez Pre-school at 2 years old as a Buzzee bee myself. At that time my mum was a preschool worker, she is now the manager. Throughout my childhood and secondary school life, I would often help out and come into the preschool whenever I could. I really enjoyed helping out and when the opportunity arose, I left College & decided to start a childcare career. In September 2017 I began my l3 childcare apprenticeship. I really enjoy my job and I have a passion for working with SEND children. Knowing I can make a difference in all children's lives is important to me.

I started my time with Buzzee Beez Preschool in 2014 as a volunteer whilst studying towards my Level 3 NVQ in childcare, which I completed in August 2016. I have been working as a preschool practitioner since 2016 and am the Equality Needs Co-ordinator I have two children who have both attended the preschool I enjoy working with all the children and helping them achieve on a day to day basis as well as learning new things from training and workshops throughout the year.

I began my career in childcare as soon as I qualified from college, with my NNEB Diploma in nursery nursing in 1998. I then worked in a variety of childcare settings with children and babies 0-8 years. I have completed many courses throughout my years working in childcare. I'm passionate about making a difference and helping every child reach their goals and have fun whilst learning. having worked for Buzzee Beez previously, I'm excited about returning to this setting where I started when my daughter attended eight years ago.

Megan Baker

I started my time with Buzzee Beez in June 2018 and was delighted to be welcomed onto the team. I have worked with children in many roles over the past two decades, including as a babysitter, nanny & mother, and in a number of primary school settings. I have a BA degree in Education Studies with Mathematics, and I am excited to be studying for my NVQ level 3 in childcare whilst on the job. I am married and we have two children.
